What Do We Offer? We would like to honor our Navy Veterans by providing a free recording service to preserve your stories for future generations. Your stories will be intertwined with the story of your ship through historical photos and videos. The finished montage will be mailed to you on a DVD, plus we'll give you extra copies to share with your friends and family. Where Do I Sign Up? We will have a booth set up at the 2009 USSIV Submariner Convention in San Diego, CA. Just stop by our booth and we'll have a video camera ready to record your story! How Much Does it Cost? We are offering this service and the DVDs for FREE as a way to honor our Navy Veterans.
Why Are We Providing This Service For Free? HonorNavyVets.com's sponsor, the Galiher DeRobertis Ono law firm, has been honored to represent Navy seamen, submariners and shipyard workers suffering from asbestos-related deseases for over 30 years. Through helping its clients, the firm has researched and collected thousands of documents from various historical sources, including the National Archives, the Washington Navy Shipyard Library, and the private libraries of former submariners. In honor of the clients that the Galiher firm has represented, they would like to make this historical information available free for other veterans in recognition of their service.
